I don't need to fulfill the highest expression of myself. sometimes I simply can't express myself and that's ok. sometimes I even can't use the right words or the right grammar or the right attitude and I can't communicate with the world outside, and guess what! "Right" here means what belongs to me or what is part of me. Sometimes I even can't introduce me cause i can't find any dictionary for my very own language.
You said you heard from Obama form Bush from heroes and from housewives, from victims and perpetrators of crimes. and even from Beyonce "in all her Beyonce-ness" after their interviews that: "Was that okay?" which means Did you hear me? Did you see me? Did what I said mean anything to you?. And your solution is to try to fulfilling their truest and highest expression of themselves. Expression? aren't you stuck in a vicious circle?
